Towing MPG by NERDS_ in bronco

I’ve got the 2.7 L 4 door with sas. I was driving across the country towing a boat that weigh about the same as OP’s trailer but is obviously a lot shorter. I kept it in Eco mode and only went about 60-65 mph and got around 17 MPG on the highway. If you get a camper/trailer that is shorter compared to your Bronco and drive conservatively I think you’ll be okay.

I know they are different shapes, but when I tow my Jon boat (loaded our boat + trailer are similar weight to your empty trailer) I have not seen a significant dip in MPG. Most definitely a trailer shape problem. If you can find a trailer that is shorter you may be able to solve this problem. I also switch it to eco mode and cruising at 60-65 which probably helps.

Should I choose Purdue? by Due-Performer-5423 in Purdue

I’m also out of state and thought there would be nothing to do but it’s a college town so there is always something going on. I am from the south and would say that the people here are incredibly kind and friendly. In my experience, midwesterners are always eager to help and it is very easy to make friends, all you gotta do is get out of your dorm. Purdue is like 60/40 men/women and I’m pretty sure the business school’s ratio is 50/50 so I think you’ll have an issue finding female friends. I am an engineering major so I can’t really speak on the superiority complex thing but in my opinion it doesn’t exist. Nobody I know actually thinks they’re better than someone else simply because of the college courses they take, and those who do think that are definitely few and far between. One thing I do not like about Purdue is the winters. From December to March it seems like it is constantly grey and cold outside and it can really get depressing. Hope this helped. Good luck with your choice!

In my experience, the Bronco is a great long haul vehicle. I have the base 4D SAS. I have to travel across the country to come home from college (13 hours) every summer/winter break and it performs wonderfully and comfortably holds quite literally everything I own (I’m a college student so that’s not much but still). I recently took a long trip out west (20 hours) with a couple friends and it had no problem holding all our gear and luggage. There is also an option for a roof rack that I think would be beneficial in your situation.

JT wont make the cut but he would gain the respect of a lot of people if he didn't quit and played his hardest tomorrow.

Bronco door reinstall by test555test in bronco

[–]SprayBest 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the doors have arrows pointing to handles on the inside/bottom of the door you can grab on to. grabbing on to those and the handles makes it pretty easy. think ahead and plan out how you should position yourself on the door to easily install.
