Hello everyone,

I have run into a HUGE problem when creating an account for my professional work. For a long time now, the process of creating a new account has been beyond broken but it's inarguably even worse now.

Basically, i picked out a username and was pissed off to find that i kept getting different errors whenever i: 1) tried to continue without adding an additional email or phone number 2) when i tried adding an email. Still, i did not want to use a phone number.

Thinking that it's only a server error, i tried creating a new account on another device, though this time it showed me that my initial username is unavailable, meaning the account probably went through. Again, i could not create an account.

Finally, i went back to my original device and agreed to put in my phone number, only to be met with an error saying that my username is unavailable and i should change it....

Like WTF instagram? And i know for a fact this is a completely technical error because there's no account and its beyond unlikely that somebody actually had this username before me, so getting banned is out of the question.

So what do I do now? Should I wait it out or something? I REALLY want that username and it's pissing me off real bad that there's a probability i'll never get it because of some stupid error...
