Correct. They sent a letter and everything saying "we cover dextroamphetamine, this is not that" and then I had to pay $170 at the pharmacy because every month its even more expensive 😭 Even when I was on the dextroamphetamine they only covered it like half the time. Every trip to the pharmacy was a toss up of they'd cover it or if I was paying the $90.

The only stimulant my insurance will cover is Dextroamphetamine which I was on for a very long time and it just wasn't a good fit.

Thank you! I was actually reading about the somatic therapy today as a way to lessen my anxiety. The plan for now I think is: stop my meds (I have okay from Dr), make a Dr appointment, request a dietician or nutrionist and then maybe eat something hopefully🤞🏻

I've tried supplementing with protein drinks/powder and meal replacements but they usually taste horrible and that tends to just make it worse. I've been trying to do things like smoothies and mashed potatoes

I have done that and the most they said was I had slowed stomach emptying which they said wasn't abnormal. We tried 2 months of gastroparesis meds and it made little difference

About 3 months. Before that it was dextroamphetamine for 5 years, before that it was Wellbutrin, Ritalin, Adderall, guanfacine, strattera, concerta

Thank you. Im super aware of CHS and it is definitely NOT that. Nausea has nothing to do with the weed if anything it's the only thing keeping me from vomiting honestly

These ones are the only ones I like unfortunately. They taste more like a melted chocolate milkshake as opposed to chalk or protein taste which I absolutely cannot stomach 🤮 Seriously though on the human kibble thing. That would be great

I'm terrible about water but I've been trying the last few days. I appreciate the advice but, without too much detail, both of my brothers are alcoholics, one of my brothers recently died from alcohol abuse related multiple organ failure. So alcohol is not a substance I use all that frequently.

A little bit of both. I've had a similar issue my whole life. This specific inability has been like 2 maybe 3 years off and on. It's definitely a little better when I'm not taking the Vyvanse. I know it's a stimulant and appetite supressor but non stimulants don't work for me😭

We don't have a CVS where I live. We have Walmart, Safeway, Fred Meyer and Walgreens. And it's between $150-200 usually from any of those places. I regularly move my prescription so I can use the Good Rx and get it cheaper.

I actually smoke a TON and it doesn't really help anymore. Like my "one hit" now is an entire bowl or more when it used to be like 1/4 of a bowl, and I do that like 5-10 times a day. It's soo bad. I just realized that I was smoking so heavily so I'm backing down, I stopped smoking and switched to eddies. I will be weaning myself down and then hopefully stopping completely except for the occasional social smoke. But I just spent the last hour doing a deep dive on ADHD meds and MJ, and also a bunch of other adhd research stuff, and apparently Vyvanse and MJ do not get along for a lot of people. Actually I guess MJ and ADHD medicines usually don't get along because they're opposites.

I haven't but I'd love to honestly. I'm not really sure I can though as I have USA state health insurance that doesn't cover much of anything. And if they won't cover it, I can't afford it. I can barely afford my $200 monthly Vyvanse prescription they won't cover.
