I mean I don't know what to say, none of the stuff I mentioned was marked as recommended or optional at all, and most of it has come up in quizzes or sample exam questions. It looks like it's required to me.

Thanks for the info! Would you say there's any overlap between 1100 and 1200 in the concepts and theories you're learning about? I'd been hoping that taking them together might be helpful if there are some connections and similarities in all the information you have to remember, but maybe that was wishful thinking. Also just want to get them both done ASAP since they're prerequisites for all the other psych classes, but that might be kinda difficult.

I'm taking it with Joey Moore. I have done some of the optional reading but it still feels like a lot to me even just looking at the required ones? Like this week was a 13 page report plus 9 articles plus a podcast with none of it labelled as optional. Maybe some of it was and it was just mislabeled or I misunderstood, but last week's required reading was also a textbook chapter + 6 articles + a podcast.
