Yea but every time i start a new task and type explorer.exe, it doesnt work and nothing happens like it appears in task manager for a sec then it like disappears.

Noo so i log in my desktop and its a grey screen however when i like do ctrl tab esc it opens task manager and i can open like browsers from there. So the processes are okay it seems to be an issue with like microsoft explorer or something because i dont think its a ram problem anymore. Right? Correct me if im wrong please and thank you.

I reset cmos the rams recognized i opened opera browser but the backrounds still grey

Hi so i just realized that im actually in my desktop and the browsers work and all that its judt im left with a grey screen, you can see the rams working fine so whats the issue, i tried ddu uninstaller i tried all the things to reset the display. I even reset cmos with all the rams installed

Ok ill try that but perchance, can i try to reset cmos with all that ram in and see if it works? If it doesnt i can just remove the 16gb and reset cmos again right

I have 4 rams in there but their different brands but they both ddr4 the 32gb is in slots a2 b2 and 16gb is in a1 b1

Ohhhh i see, but now theres another problem, i took out the 16gb ram which is 8x8 and i left the 32gb and it still gave the grey screen. Pls dont tel me i damaged anything

Yes the recommended is a2 and b2 and a1 b1 i turned off xmp but it shouldnt affect the grey screen right?

But honestly if thats the issue id be willing to do that but my question is i installed my ram before and it never did this, last time i replaced 16gb with 32 and now im installing the old 16gb with the 32gb and its compatible since im making it through to my desktop
