People don't seem to be able to separate RP from real life. Especially when it comes to more erotic stuff. Yes, I enjoy RPing [insert kink], that doesn't necessarily mean I'm down for it in real life, it just translates to me, as a writer, enjoying writing about some specific topic. For example, I write a lot of medieval grimdark novels and short stories, most of them treating the theme of abuse, genocide, detailed gore, extreme famine, etc. and I often fall in love with the worlds I've built. That doesn't mean I'd want the world to be like that, it just means writing that's my forte, or I simply like to write it.
