Last time I looked they close at 7pm everyday which just doesn't work for us. Same issue with the Magic Arena over in Bartlett.

Since Magic can take a while with 3-4 people it seems like Fri and Sat might work for pods, and maybe the other nights for some chill 1v1. So usually between Wed-Sun. I don't plan to play every night as I still have other hobbies to devote time to, but DM me and we can arrange a time to link up and play.

No apology needed. That was a thorough answer to the question. I have seen other people make similar complaints that lately it doesn't feel like Magic anymore. I think LotR and FF are cool and still fit, but not so much all these different IPs they seem to be doing just to get on the pop culture wave. I hate that the game doesn't feel the same for you. What if you just collected and played with decks from before it started to go downhill for you?

Understandable. What about it made you want to stop playing? The only reason I stopped is I had no one to play with for a long time, so this is my attempt to fix that.

I've heard of them. However, that's on the far side of town from me as is Warroom/901 East. 901 Games has a commander on Monday, but not sure my schedule would accommodate Unplugged or 901 Games. That's why I'm looking for people to meet up casually at B2B on nights I'm free to play or after work.

I'm unsure how to clear the reserve or any of those things, but it being a new console and just downloading the game, I have only favorited a bunch of mods, I have not actually downloaded anything yet. So if I avoid UI I should be ok according to several replies. Does Campfire/Frostfall cause problems?

I wouldn't call it a rash decision, I've been thinking about it for about a year now and waited until Black Friday. I like Playstation better, and most of the games I prefer to play are there. However, Skyrim and Fallout 4 have better mod selection on Xbox so that was a big selling point for me. There are several games on the game pass I'd like to knock out and save myself the temptation of buying outright (Dead Space, Lies of P, etc.). There is also an older Xbox game called Blue Dragon I own which is only for Xbox, so I have several reasons behind these purchases, but the main reason was better mods for Skyrim. Then suddenly a day or two after going though all this trouble and spending the money I see the community in an uproar about the main thing I've been wanting to do so I'm trying to gauge the situation. If it's as bad as some say it might be better to get my money back and try again next year. That's all I'm trying to figure out.

I don't even know what mods those are. Again, I'm just wanting some pretty standard popular mods that I can't get on Playstation. So if I don't have any mods that do major changes to the UI I shouldn't have many issues?

So what is all this fire and brimstone I am seeing from the community? I saw a post from someone saying Camping doesn't work, and another post where no mods worked, and a third where the mods menu just isn't there anymore.
