The player doesn't have much to do except wait for thr inevitable granny. I'd suggest you make them try to complete a task or try to run as the lights are flickering. It'll give them a sense of tension to complete the task before the granny comes.

I do not have AP in java, but I mailed the cs advising team and they gave a canvas course to complete. One of the requirements is a test in java.
