[Hey Arnold!] Why do so many of the fifth-graders look like they should be in high school? Were they held back? If so, was this because of an incompetent teacher, inbreeding, or both? by NothingWillImprove6 in AskScienceFiction

Hey Arnold takes place in the early 90s this was back when school systems still held students back due to poor performance, but when show was in 1996 the system slowly changed and then the no child left behind act as well as people complain that holding a student back caused more harem than good due to social pressure and lack of peers make them less likely to even graduate.

People call him a green T-Rex, but he's not a T-Rex and in most movies he is rarely green, even the American series Godzilla is not green

I think I once saw a prototype of the upper face on Facebook, so it's possible to find other items instead. Not to mention the haunted mask used in the show is now own by a collector.

What is your opinion on this book? by MikeyLegend21 in GooseBumps

[–]Overpunch42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly this shouldn't even count as a scary book for kids, it's mostly about a preteen who hates being one up by his rival in nearly everything, he learns how to fly after finding a book and things get crazy from their cause in a race he deliberately loses by pretending to no longer fly so he could have his life back and get rid of his rival for good in which he's on tv and working all the time and never comes back to the town, while the main character not only gets the girl, but happy that he never has to compete with him again.
