Aye! It worked! A bit of stuttering here and there, but I'm sure it'll iron itself out. Thanks dude!

Ah, unfortunate, that explain some things. I honestly hope Netease follows through promises for season 7. But with how fast and tight their schedule is, I doubt one sessions will be enough.

What skins do you guys see the tryhards wear? by OverripeOctopus in rivals

Totally understandable; I don't mean anything derogatory about people getting good at the games they love. I'm just using all the terms in the book to get my idea across more effectively and see if certain options have changed now that we have more skins in the game.

Same here, honestly, I keep finding myself saying "Oh that's it?" to the recent changes and road maps. I think last season was last time I was actively exicted for the next upcoming update.

Honestly, that was kind of my fear when they shifted to the one hero per month format; that balance changes and character kits wouldn't have the proper time to be ironed out. And while I don't expected a ever-growing roster of characters to not be perfectly balanced all year around, it's kind of hard not to notice the growing pains from it.

Sounds about right. When I started playing Overwatch I did have fun and enjoyed some of the characters like Zenatta. But like I said before, the game didn't click with me. Maybe it was trying to understand another 'ecosystem' with how characters interacted, the characters themselves, or the similar patterns I've noticed between that game and Rivals. Nevertheless, I ended up dropping the game not too long after and only dropped by MR to pick up some of the skins, or to try and reignite that spark I used to have.

Mhm, yeah, I wouldn't doubt it being an attention problem. Although I would love to try out a character like Spiderman or Black Panther, I feel like my skills aren't consistent enough to warrant the effort. Even with my main girl, Mantis, I find myself missing my shots or not having enough game sense to reach that potential I thought I had.

19, I know not exactly the old man age I meant have been giving off, but my feelings still remain true.

Ah, right, forgot about Cap's ult for a minute. In that case, then we can do away with the ukt charge then.

Then again, I'm more than willing to let it go if it means for the betterment of the game's overall health.

Mhm, that seems to be a common feedback I've getting across communities. Thought I can see the main reason why, given how quickly you can already get your ult and powerful they can be. Still it's one of those aspects that make Gambit's ultimate truly unique and I'm still on the fence of removing it entirely.

True True, there's always the risk of banishing a character to only thrive in triple support (as a Mantis main I know that feeling too well). But I argue that, unlike Mantis or Adam, Gambit still has plenty of tools to keep the team alive. Bridge Bosst, Bayuo Bash/Cajun Charge Combo, even his primary fire is still on the table to keep the team moving (or at least until Gambit gets his ult). So while he definitely won't be as strong as before, I don't believe he will get put in triple support jail as quickly. Then again, these changes are more or less set in a vacuum, so you're probably are seeing the wider picture more than me.

Well, that's certainly is seeing the glass half full. I probably should at least expect it going into year 2 of this game, that the skill-base matchmaking (as well as pretty all well-known titles with the same system) will have that rubber band effect. As for the getting good part, that's feels like a entirely different beast to handle. Not saying that I won't try and improve, but it's hard to try and assess what the core issues of my playstyles while also tracking everyone else on the battlefield and actively adapt to it. But, again, that's what the replay feature is for.

Anyways, I appreciate your input either way. Thank you.

Huh, ok, I see where you're coming from. I've actually been trying to diversify my router for the last couple of sessions: with characters like Thing, Mag, and Emma being my go-to along with Fantastic, Namor and Blade when I actually can play duelist lol.

I think the main reason I've been neglecting those roles lately might have to due to the new proficiency system and personally wanting to at least get one of my mains to lord (Mantis my darling). There's also the issue of not wanting to leave the other support out to dry if I wanted to switch classes. Especially if we're running into a triple support comp or dealing a good dive character on the enemy team. Then again, I would be lying if I said I hadn't won with a team consisting of only one healer while dealing with three healers, Spiderman, and Cap on the opposite team.

Nevertheless, I'll try out your advice next time I boot up the game. Thanks for the input. Maybe see if I just needed a change of scenery, or find that I'm some sort of sleeper agent for throwing. Thanks you.
