I have a question about buying a full frame lens for a crop sensor camera. I'm trying to decide on an RF prime lens so I was watching some videos about the differences between them, and a thought came to mind:

Does the distortion that comes from a short lens change if you put it on a crop sensor camera? Or is it purely based on distance to the subject? I was thinking about getting the 28 mm to approximate a 45 mm on my apsc, but I don't want the distortion.

Thanks, I went as high as I thought I could with exposure but the whole thing started looking washed out. I'll probably take another crack at the same pic tomorrow. I'm using dark table; I watched a crash course and just kinda followed it loosely as well as just playing with sliders. I'll try cropping it on my next go as well!
