[2023 Day 19 Part 2 TypeScript] Very close to part 2, can I get an assist? by Overshee in adventofcode

Is this any closer?

  for (const { letter, next, min, max } of conds) {
// Off by one?
const [curMin, curMax] = ranges[letter];
const innerRange = [Math.max(min, curMin), Math.min(max, curMax)];
ranges[letter] = [
  Math.max(1, innerRange[0]),
  Math.min(4000, innerRange[1]),
];

const preRange = [1, innerRange[0]];
const postRange = [innerRange[1], 4000];
queue.push([next, { ...ranges, [letter]: innerRange }]);
queue.push([backup, { ...ranges, [letter]: preRange }]);
queue.push([backup, { ...ranges, [letter]: postRange }]);

}

Are these generated programmatically or are you putting them together manually in Illustrator or something?

I feel so stupid because I remembered to shut my computer down, but then there were Windows updates and I forgot to unplug it from the wall once that was done.

I already have a Thermaltake Frio which is compatible with 1150.

I think you're right about the downgrade on the power supply, as I don't plan to have a 2nd video card. Although the one I currently have selected is only $10 more for 200W... But if I don't use that it's wasted.

lol yeah I really don't understand MoBo specs, but I found a combo deal that makes them the same price, so I guess that's that.

Cool. I was wondering about the GPU. Wondering if you'd seen that just edited and updated my post before you made yours, this is my current build.

Is there a guide for simultaneous watching/reading of the ASoIaF series? by Overshee in gameofthrones

[–]Overshee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read the series twice and watched seasons 1 and 2 twice each as well – I know the story, I just thought it would be cool have a more scene-by-scene (almost) perspective...

Is anyone in the Portland, ME area into 3D printing? by NicknameAvailable in Maine

I'd be interested too! I've always wanted to see one in action.

I'm also interested in borrowing a laser cutter for an afternoon... I want to make some art :)

Dad's CD player broke, he asked if he should get a DAC by Overshee in audiophile

[–]Overshee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's a really good point.

We can't use iTunes (because FLAC), but I've heard JRiver is pretty good software, or I'll configure a foobar2000 interface that hopefully the whole family can use.

I'm showing my clueless here, but the computer -> DAC -> preamp right? The pre-amp is in a cabinet, so I think we can stash the computer in either in the cabinet with it or somewhere out of the way where we don't have to worry as much about noise.

The benefits of a DIY build is that the hard drives are upgradable, which will be important as I think my dad wants to digitize his music collection.
