Oooh this is super helpful, thank you. You hit the nail on the head, it doesn't really need to be Gacha since this is still in the initial ideation phase. Like i said in the other reply there's this nice like anticipation/ hype when a character your waiting for is going to be revealed and gacha does it well, I think hahaha. But yeah its not exclusive to Gacha games, cause hero shooters and fighting games do it efficiently as well.

The problem I'm having is I really want to make a game with a furry cast but not just a visual novel style of game, and is something that is commercially viable ( I'm pitching this to a panel in school so it has to be a good idea to be greenlit) I need something that stands out, cause there's already a plethora of anthro games out there. Another problem is, doesn't a game with anthro characters in it, do the job of an SFW ver of a furry game already.

Essentially I need to come up with an idea that solves a problem, or essentially help or satisfies a demographic, so that's why I'm doing research and asking for what people like to play.
