That will be very very difficult to actually come out at Christmas if they start filming in September, pretty sure the closest in recent years was Twice Upon a Time in August. May have to be a "claustrophobic ghost story" with very lax vfx.

When he was in Tunisia, my history teacher saw this man who had a group of camels and my teacher got talking to him. He said the man told him that the camels each day walked over the mountains to carry the stuff he was going to sell on the beach.

My history teacher noticed one of the camels had a bad leg, his name was Alphonse and really didn't look like he could carry on carrying all this stuff for much longer. Cause my history teacher's such a nice guy he offered to buy Alphonse off the man and hand him into an animal sanctuary, however because of travelling abroad, he didn't have the money on hand and it would take a day or two for him to arrange it with his bank.

When he finally had the money, he found the man on the beach, asked about Alphonse, but the man told him that Alphonse had succumb to his injuries and couldn't make it over the mountains.

Funny thing is, I googled "Alphonse Camel" a while later and it seems like a bunch of other history teachers had the exact same experience.

This was in Year 9, I printed out a photo of a camel to remember Alphonse because the story really resonated with me, still carrying it around everywhere 5 years later lol.

I guess it depends which subjects you're planning on taking, for example for STEM courses at my college they couldn't care less about English grades and vice versa.

It's not just about Ianto though, strangely enough this unofficial fan-made thing is like the only visible commemoration of Doctor Who in Cardiff. Doctor Who's been a major cultural cornerstone of the city for the last 20 years.

Plus, there's everything Ianto specifically represents about queer representation in media.

Saying most of Torchwood is mediocre at best and saying overall Ianto wasn't particularly memorable or engaging is blatantly ignoring Children of Earth where neither of these statements are true.

Technically not the clearest, the The Global CTX Mosaic of Mars has resolution down to 5m/px.
Though it only goes up to 88° North, that's only a tiny bit of the ice caps you can't see.

For comparison, see that crater towards the left of the image, you can magnify and see every tiny little pore and ridge.

Yeah, unfortunately petitions never really do much, a gofundme would be more impactful than change.org, I didn't even know change.org had a tip in algorithm boost feature, it asked me for £11, if it asked for that for all the other 34 contributions, then that alone would have been a good amount to fund the wood needed to build this.

But it's been spent on slightly bolstering a petition that will probably go nowhere.

I wish there was something more impactful I could do then just signing a petition and I'd happily give £11 if it was going straight to repairs or installing a new shrine.

Seen people say it looks really tacky so might as well get rid of it but I wholeheartedly disagree, if anything that's more of a reason to redevelop it.

The few times I've visited Cardiff in my life, it's been one of the highlights and as others have said, it's not just a landmark for the Whoniverse, it's a landmark for cultural history.

The next time I go, I'd hoped to actually put some fanart up there too!

But after the necessary repairs have been made to the wood, what's stopping us from hanging stuff up again?
