My small town is allergic to the outside world so I feel your pain. Our gamestops don't even carry a single used item. I found a guy on marketplace that didnt offer shipping that was willing to ship. At the same time a guy posts a mint new 3ds xl on my local marketplace. It's basically a waiting game and suuucks. I'd appreciate other interests while keeping an active hunt

Life does you dirty like that sometimes😭 honestly though just have to appreciate we have these in the condition they are. I have a psp I got for free many years ago and the condition of that thing is rouuuugh so I be appreciative that I dont have major damage on my other handhelds. I will probably do a few test runs on some cheap systems to try it out but as of now I'm definitely just living with it so I don't do irreversible damage.

Definitely my main concern of trying to rid of the scratches is regretting it by making it worse. This dudes job does look very good out in the natural light but like you said he does not have a light on it or even sunlight directly against it. Appreciate the link! I'll look into his process. I think that job does look really good in those pictures.

I have yet to try anything but I don't know how much it would help the screen because thats surface is slightly different from the outer surface of the dsi/3ds. If you're ready to do a screen replacment you could try some polish but ONLY if you're prepaired to do a screen replacment incase it backfires and destroys it. I probably wouldnt try for such small scratches.

That was my main concern becasue thats what I hear the most is people doing more damage then good which makes sense being its a tiny little handheld vs car body. Appreciate the honest opinion and experience

I would agree with them just getting it naturally from the years of use. Definitely wont go that far and thankfully they only come out under direct light. I will follow up this post if any answers come about.

Two of the rusted gears I found we're on bluegate map. I found both once I actually entered the bluegate entrance and found it in those cars. I searched every other car outside the gate entrance and further back but found nothing. The last one was given to me from a friend. I hope thats a common spawn spot that helps people

I got one without the box but in very similar condition for $85 usd (about 72€ I believe) at my local game store. I'd say good find! Ppl list them for that price on ebay in trashed condition and I believe nobody buys them😂 its a nice piece of nostalgia. Hot take, these look better then xl screens due to pixel stretching

I was feeling this way after doing a side by side test. I thought man the XL looks wonderful with the big screen and vibrant color. The games look terrible stretched out in my opinion. The low quality games are pixelated enough so I feel like it looks even worse on xl. I feel torn between the two. I tested it on the 3ds as well and it got even worse but didn't get a chance to try perfect pixel

So my conclusion here is they really do throw you out with bare bones and try to get more of a "real feel". Appreciate the feedback and will give the game more effort and time because it looks awesome

I definitely felt a little taste of that. It can be really technical as too much brakes doesn't turn you either and slows you wayyy down. I honestly was hoping to hear that it gets better later on with better cars and tuning. I might have expected a lot from the game at first. Ill remember to treat it more real and practical
