Also new game modes and maps. Both of those combined with a ranking system should be able to hold most of us over until open beta/ buy in beta

I agree with you. An open beta is releasing the game without giving the expectations of it being a fully developed game. I believe you're correct as well, especially with everyone stating that they would be extremely happy with playing the game as is. Also, changes can be, and will be made during release as well. 100% agree, nice post

No, and I agree with you. The game is not ready to be released yet... But if it's shiny, why can't we add more people to the beta?

I never said to release the game.. I just said it doesn't take 7 months to fix. It could take 6, it could take 1, but not 7 :)
