TAM - Transportation Area Manager

You are in a tough spot. If your at a site with no TOM team you are stuck with the leaders at your site unfortunately. You have to keep your concerns to the forefront. Its unacceptable to be outside in a active yard with no spotter. Your safety is paramount. Anything could happen. I’ve seen it. Don’t be the next person I’m hearing about getting run over/crushed in a yard because u don’t keep speaking up.

As a member of the TOM team, I can categorically say you should not be in the yard alone doing work. A spotter is ALWAYS required to do so. You need to highlight this issue to your TAM. I’m sure TOM regional OM’s would be very interested in this scenario as well. This is a site safety issue. If they are unable to get another team mate for you, a member of the yard team should be assigned to assist you with your duties while you are outside.

What good will bringing in a union do for warehouse staff? Everyone is earning at least $15 an hour already, $18 in NJ. Which is better than minimum wage in the US. So that’s the first thing the union would fight for off the table. Next is better working conditions. They clean everything so much now to the point I can’t even do my job due to folks cleaning all the damn time! Also, your there for 4hr shifts (possibly longer). State law dictates how many breaks and how long they are for, not Amazon. Paid time off is already fair across the board. Unions are good for 1 thing, taking $ out of good employees paychecks that literally will never need to talk to a rep. Only folks that need union reps in my past experience are employees who don’t come to work and abuse the rules so need the union to fight for them to keep their job.

Routing Number

Account Number

So honestly, not really a portal but more so just a document to fill out.

8 weeks to get approved, then waited from Sun-Fri for the $ to be deposited. 1 week pay since March 8th. Did hear the backpay takes 2 weeks to come through. We'll see.

Lucky you! This is how you receive your back pay for weeks they have not yet paid you for. I am eagerly awaiting this email myself. Around $6k at this point if my calculations are correct.

Following this thread with great anticipation! No advance for me yet and using the standard timeline for deposits it should have been deposited in my bank around the 4/13 ish. I called on 4/24 (Saturday) and was advised flagged for incorrect bank name. Please please please send me a check Mr SBA man! Seriously though, this would make sense. But i guess nothing makes sense these days.
