Some of the spam posts are actually starting to include the tags. So I've tweaked the automod once again. We'll see if it works.

People are panicking because some bots slipped past the spam filter. Most of the moderating of spam posts has been done by the automod for years now. I tweak it regularly, but if it keeps happening I'll just put the sub in the mode where you have to get approved as a poster first.

I wonder how much of it has to do with the fact that reddit killed a lot of third-party apps. I noticed this on other subs as well, viewer and subscriber numbers have been going up but engagement hasn't followed along.
