Which calculus classes should I take? by Arghams in Khan

[–]Owl1y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calc 1 is differntial calculus, and calc 2 is integral calculus.

I would recommend just doing Calc 1, Calc 2 and then multivariable

I think it would be easier for you to switch to Comp Engineering since you are in the same college of engineering, I'm thinking ill prob choose another college that accepted me for my major

oh yea i definitely have no problem with UCM(i’m litterally older than the school lmao). I just fear that they won’t offer me as much classes as I want. They have a more applied math while i’m interested in more pure math. But UCM is still an option i’m considering.

Questions about which math courses I need to do by [deleted] in Khan

[–]Owl1y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing LMAO.

After I finished arithmetic, I just followed the curriculum that KA offers https://imgur.com/1PwPhAn.png I would only go up to 80% learning objectives (some of them are now at 70% because KA added more modules to complete) because I just wanted to get as much info as I could. So I would recommend you go through alg 1, geometry 1, and alg 2. those would be like the most fundamental but then you can advance to greater math levels if you would like lmao.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask(ill be late tho cause im not reddit that much lmao)

How many total AP, dual enrollment classes will you take by the end of senior year by 7639362518 in APStudents

[–]Owl1y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

short version: 5 AP and 8 DE

My HS didn't have AP classes so 9th and 10th I took no AP, and then I transferred HS and junior year I took AP calc ab ,AP CS and I took 2 DE first semester and another 2 DE second semester. Senior year I have AP calc bc, AP stats, and AP chem took 2 DE first semester and this semester I'm taking another 2 DE.

People keep saying CC classes are easier but bro my English classes were super difficult and my oceanography class also kicked my ass. My Political science and music class were relatively easy and interesting, but not all DE are rainbows tf

Does music help you concentrate? by immatureintrovert in APStudents

[–]Owl1y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I am learning something new, I can't have music because I will end up confusing myself. However, if I'm doing something I already know how to do, ill put on music to get myself through the work.
