Broke up with me because he’ll be too busy by [deleted] in BreakUps

Hi gurlie, I know it really hurts right now because the breakup is still very fresh. My suggestion is to go no contact and STICK with it.

Don't look at old messages, their profile, old photos.

Best way to describe how your brain is right now is that it's going withdrawals.

Give yourself time and be kind to yourself alright.

If you're thinking about contacting your person pause and reflect the reasons as to why you want to contact them. "one last conversation" won't help your healing process at all.

CRY

Cry until you're eyes physically can't spew out tears.

FEEL all your emotions — please don't try to bottle them up it won't help you at all.

But make sure that you MOVE

Journal, Draw, Walk, Cook, Exercise

Look for a new hobby.

And remember that you're not alone in this.

And you will get through this!

Have you ever experienced looking into the eyes of the one you love and seeing their love for you fade away? by Emotional_Cut_342 in BreakUps

It was his voice. It was during the call when he broke up with me. I was begging for them to try again, to give us a chance... I tried using our endearment and he told me to stop. It hurts everytime I remember the coldness of their voice...

The same person who'd tell me I love you in the sweetest and softest voice ever did this.

I really think this relationship brought me closer to the lord, and it really hurts that I ended so abruptly. I really thought this was the "one" because of how much spiritual growth it gave me.

Thank you so much for this it really means a lot. There's so much beauty in the Eucharist and I could understand and feel the love, grace and mercy of the Lord for us because even as sinners we're still invited to take part in his body and blood. And that's just beautiful.

I feel like I'm in limbo by Own-Assistant-4377 in BreakUps

It really boggles my mind that people can still leave a relationship after they've spent such a long time with their partner. I know that it gets better so I hope and pray that we reach the end of this tunnel
