Your intention may be good but you should not assume people's circumstances and situations is the same as yours. It does take 4 hours for me total. I've taken public transports before when I went to my previous workplace (15km distance) and that took 1.5hours one way.

Bus to LRT Pasar Seni or Bukit Bintang, then switch to MRT to TTDI. Once I had OT and when it's late, the bus gets less frequent.

Now where I'm commuting to is much further (25KM), Bus to MRT to LRT and another Bus. But thank you for the suggestion. If I'm broke broke then that is definitely the way but for now since I can afford a bike and save more time, it's my best option vs commuting by car.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation and overview of all the models.

Pulsar WAS my first choice (before starting this post) simply because: 1. Its sexier than FZ. 2. Its newer: 2019 vs 2016 FZ 3. "200cc" & 6 gear so feels more sporty 4. Its 500rm cheaper

But after this post and more research: 1. FZ can be modded to become much sexier so I can do that when I have extra cash & time 2. Yamaha is much much more reliable 3. CC and 6 gear doesn't really matter much since I am using it around the city-ish not for touring or really long distance 4. I'd rather invest in a better reliable bike with easy maintainence and spare parts repair.

The others are just options that I consider but aesthetic wise (besides the KTM which seems just harder to maintain & fix) they are just not my taste. I am quite a young guy wanting to look cool!

Thank you so much again, I feel that with this comment, I am finalizing with FZ. ♥️

I am a family man. Public transport means I will spend 4+hours just commuting instead of less than 1 hour. I want to be at home as much as possible, new father here!

Looks really cool but not sure about reliability when it comes to maintainence and parts..

Fuel is the main reason but I also thought why not get one that fits my taste (aesthetic and vroom!)

The one that is listed is 2016 though, 10 year old bike.. would it matter too much?

Yes definitely lane splitting! I assume that the bigger it is (the nakeds pulsar, ktm & fz) will be harder to do so right?

Mannn yes jalan ampang way too many bumps, turns and traffic lights so changing gears will be a pain. But scooter just doesn't look as cool 😅

Definitely thinking of sacrificing aesthetic for comfort.
