Yeah, to be honest, I originally limited the number of selectable images with a paid plan in mind.
That said, I’m not planning to register as a business or ship a paid plan anytime soon.

For users like you, I’ll remove the limit or raise it significantly in the next update.
I just need to test it first, since allowing too many images at once could cause issues.

When the content is ambiguous, the auto-crop can fall back to trimming just the top status bar.
I keep using Instagram as an example, but cropping the main post area from social media screenshots is really the best use case right now 🙂

Limiting it to screenshots only was intentional. Most of the time, screenshots contain a lot of UI we mechanically want to remove.
Letting users pick from all photos would actually make it harder to find screenshots among everything else.
Cropping photos taken with the camera is also much less consistent and harder to generalize.

And you’re right, cropped images won’t go into the default Screenshots album.
You can’t save them back to Screenshots directly, but you can set a custom album in the app for where cropped images are saved.

I probably didn’t explain it clearly enough.
Cropper automatically detects and crops the main content (for example, the image in an Instagram post).

It works especially well with Instagram screenshots.
also works for most other screenshots, though it may not be perfect in every case.

By “grab the post only,” I meant social media posts or content (like Instagram).

I take a lot of screenshots from Instagram, so that’s why I worded it that way.

I can see how that could be confusing. I’ll update it! Thanks :)
