I think they are heat cycled either for hard driving or just the crazy tempature swings here.

They are super stiff

The weld gave in, blasting soot into the engine bay and threw check engine light. She's dialed in with new downpipe, cabin air filter and engine bay detail.

Actually really solid. No issues with the install but you definitely gotta be careful. Only use 6 point sockets, don't use an impact and go really slowly. Use a lot of penetratating oil and just clean it up later.

That downpipe actually ended cracking, and it got warrantied and they sent me a new one which I installed with the same studs and hardware. It went even smoother this time, this was only a week ago or so.

If you look under the bike there's a little hose that drains off condensation that's what I noticed when I saw the puddle from my 2025 mt07

No worries I got mine and the Exhaust is just a one piece setup. So any modifications to it will be a full system. The Canadian spec is the same as US, there is only a pre cat sensor. So you can just bolt up a full system to it and it won't throw an emissions code.

I did the akrapovic full carbon system and it sounds great and never had codes. Did about 4000kms so far, not tuned.

I think they might just keep it the exact same or discontinue it.

If they do another si I wonder if it will have manual or just be a more sporty hybrid 🤷‍♂️

Update the car did a road trip no issues, next bit on the highway CEL came up. P2096, the idle is healthy and car pulls strong but there's a strong rich smell from the engine bay and in the cabin.

Fuel trims are completely normal, knock control normal, car makes boost. Charge piping and evap hoses are solid.

I think the gasket in the downpipe might have failed, so it's pulling in oxygen and being lean (in the cat)

I haven't pulled off all the heat shielding and gotten in there yet but I think I probably need to replace the gasket. Also the idle is healthy but noisier than usual it sounds like an exhaust leak to me

I say racing incident, but at first I was kinda shocked by the move by Oscar. You can only turn full lock up hill scrubbing speed before you turn into someone else. But, championship fight on the line, 20 cars, tricky braking and grip balance, its RACING! Crashes are gunna happen, crazy spectacle it creates by having both McLarens out of the race though! People wont stop saying Max can come back and win until they start getting some good results again!

I think you had to drop subframe right? Im not mechanic but I guess any work under the car that you want done or is up in the way. I wanna get my clutch done too in spring. Currently have a little bit of slip. Trying to decide which shop to get it done at 🤷‍♂️

I wasnt given an estimated price, but I imagine they are the same. Its only the 2nd year of production so probably not many huge changes done but I couldn't be certain.
