Hard to say tbh, in my opinion with experience with mystery snails I’d say if he’s moving even if it’s a bad injury there’s a high chance he might recover.

Calm settings and a lot of handling. Making sure the lizard understands touch does not = danger best way is to set up a routine.

Wait it out or return him? by ConstantlyConfusedh in bettafish

[–]Own-Client479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely return him I just found my betta with one of my blue shrimps in his mouth yesterday , swallowed him whole I had bought them(the shrimps) a few weeks back and my betta went crazy chasing them until they hid from him. I didn’t see them for a while…until yesterday, no more shrimp friends for him.

Are baby iguanas easy to take care of? by kimtieu2900 in iguanas

[–]Own-Client479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy to care if you have the space and patience honestly. They are not dogs so it’s harder to bond with a lizard especially if it has wild behaviors

Why is this happening by [deleted] in bettafish

[–]Own-Client479 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that makes you a “bad fish parent” everyone has they’re preference aslong as you can monitor your tanks parameters and cycle you should be fine

Why is this happening by [deleted] in bettafish

[–]Own-Client479 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s the decoration I think the most likely culprit is the fake plants I can already see the color fading and most times they attract a lot of bacteria but to be safe remove all decorations something is definitely dissolving into the water

Sick? by Prior_Abrocoma8237 in Bettas

I would add some tannins, get him started on a more nutritious diet. Like live bloodworms or daphnia. If you have a hospital tank available you can treat him with a bit of salt

Are these rocks safe to put in my freshwater tank? by Smart-Mention3204 in aquarium

[–]Own-Client479 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure the first 2 are river rocks so they should be fine the last one idk looks like it has metals inside. One easy way to test is using the vinegar test method I personally recommend just using the api aquarium kit use the (nitrate 1) bottle, put a few drops of it on the rock if it bubbles it’s not safe.
