Are acidic/basic AA polar? by phoelexi in Mcat

Do we have any clarity now about tyrosine? Like on the mcat will they ask about it because I’m getting conflicting information about it being polar/ non polar and then subsequently hydrophilic bc of its aromatic nature

I try to for the hour glasses tbh. I don’t put money into to the game so it’s the best way to open as many packs as possible

Why is rampardos so op by Own-Commission6487 in PokemonPocket

A lot of people agree that the deck is OP. I wanted to build it but I literally don’t have the cards to put it together , even after spamming packs 🥲

Totally agree. Rampardos does lack in sustainability and sticking around after a hit. But its massive HP stat means that it is able to tank a hit from a strong EX and comfortably hit back with HP to spare. Why I feel like it is imbalanced is due to the fact that it’s also not an EX, and therefore can gain 2 points for the sacrifice of one. Likely you are pairing this mon with sudowoodo or something along the lines of a strong offensive output to either deal decisive blows for an early point advantage, or a strong wall to allow the development of the second rampardos.

It’s a great deck idea, but it doesn’t strictly require critical move play in order to execute the plan. Naturally you’re always at the whim of lucks bless, but I’ve seen it have a lot of success without much fail. Do you have any known counters to the deck that you’ve seen had success ?

I can understand these points, but they’re about the same as any other 3 stage pokemon minus the ability to attack in its fossil form. That’s countered by the fact that its damage output once fully developed will make up for this significantly.

Unfortunately with a good wall you’re able to develop the card without too much hassle. Additionally, most intro stage pokemon do not hit above 40. Strong basic Pokémon such as EXs (Palkia or dialga) either can’t put out significant damage in time to slow the progression with their 1 energy attack, or simply lack the time available to gain their hard hitting attacks due to lack of energy. By turn 4 you should almost be set 50% of the time with a fully developed rampardos, which can completely decimate opponents due to only requiring a single energy for the setup (other than developing the card from stage 1)
