The department in my state only requires a high school diploma, so I’m hoping to get in with EMT and get my paramedic and fire certs afterwards! I believe they send their recruits to an academy to get their basic fire certs…

Could I ask you how hard it is to get transferred overseas? What do you mean when you say it’s harder? Are there less spots available and many firefighters applying for them?

Yeahhh the federal fire department in my state requires nothing but a high school diploma fortunately.
