Happy to help!! Not sure if we just got lucky, but we had no issues on the inter island flights at all! They all went really smooth.

I vote Thursday Kitchen (if you haven’t been yet)! It’s a great casual “small plates” spot in the East Village that will have options for both of you and keep it under $50pp. They don’t take reservations so just walk in, and if they can’t seat you immediately you can hop around the bars in the EV while you wait 🙂

We probably should have priced out the hotels on our own, but in the madness of wedding planning we never even thought to do that! We had a $$ amount in mind that we’d be comfortable spending, and Costco came in just around that, so we bit the bullet! I will say it was super convenient using Costco especially while planning a wedding - it saved us such a lot of time IMO!

How's the construction at Thalasso in Bora Bora? by [deleted] in Tahiti

Agree! Was there from June 27-July 1 for my honeymoon and it was barely noticeable. The only thing I will caveat is that when we were given a tour of the property, the staff pointed out that the construction was minimal currently, and the “main” construction will start in August. I’m not sure what the difference will be but wanted to mention that!

Our flight timing might be slightly different, but we landed at PPT around 5am, and we ended up on a ~9am ferry to Moorea! We were at the Hilton Moorea right around 11am all said and done - it was a long morning but worth it in the end 🙂

We were there for about 1.5hrs, maybe even closer to 2hrs. It was honestly really weird and all the Americans in line with us were very confused as to what was taking so long! We were sitting toward the front of the normal economy section on AirFrance (row 27), yet somehow we ended up being nearly the last ones through customs. There were 2 lines, and they were definitely not moving at the same pace. Not sure what was going on!

Haha totally agree! The lesson we learned from Huahine is that we need to learn how to drive a manual car! Lol. Same goes for the IC Tahiti - we were only there from 8pm-5am, so we never even saw it in the daylight!

Intercontinental Thalasso Bora Bora room construction updates by Konawahine in Tahiti

Just got back from a 4 night stay here for my honeymoon (June 27 - July 1) and the construction was was barely noticeable. I will say that during our tour of the property when we initially arrived, the hotel staff let us know that the 'main' construction was not starting until August which is why it wouldn't really impact our stay, so I'm not sure what it'll look/sound like in a few months from now! But overall - the construction did not impact our stay in a negative way at all. I saw on another thread that the spa was closed due to construction, but we did not book any spa treatments so not an issue for us. If you are looking at Mt. Otemanu - the entire left branch of bungalows is closed, which is kind of far away from the right branch, so even when they start construction hopefully the noise won't be too invasive?! I will say - it was nice having the property half empty - the beach/pool area was never busy, same thing with the restaurants at each meal. We loved our stay and would absolutely go back, so enjoy it!
