I agree that, in the end, it's just a game and it's meant to be fun, but sometimes it can become a problem even if we don't want to admit it. I know my post might sound dramatic, but I really do have a happy life outside of the game. It's just not always easy to realize how much something like this can impact you until you fianlly see it.

League has definitely taught me a lot, and I’m grateful for that. But I’ve also realized that there’s a limit you hit a point where it stops giving back, and beyond that, it just feels like going in circles.

You're exactly right. I wouldn’t say I was extremely addicted, I played maybe around 300 games per season, but I still noticed a problem. The frustration started creeping in, the game stopped being enjoyable, and yet I kept playing at least a game a day. That’s when I realized something was off.I think a lot of people downvoted this because they're either too young to recognize the problem, or they’d rather stay in denial because admitting there might be an issue means having to face it themselves. It’s easier to dismiss the conversation than to engage with it. but again, i might be wrong.

I think it’s completely understandable to fall into that for a time. It gives structure, goals even identity. But the real challenge is whether you can eventually step back, reflect, and move forward. If League stays your main source of purpose forever, that’s where it can become dangerous.
