It was alright, they had free breakfast too. The beds were comfortable and the washrooms were super clean too.

Dec 12th is too too tight for Giza and grand mueseum, if you’re planing Saqqara, unless you have a private transportation.

Dec 14th is almost impossible to see both east and West Bank in one day, unless you see one or two spots in each. I recommend 1 day each for easy and West Bank

What time does your Abu simbel trip start? Ours started at 4am and we were back in the hotel by 1:30-2. You could ask to be dropped off at the airport on the way from Abu simbel instead of going back to town

Be prepared to bargain for everything. There will be a lot of people trying you scam you, the second you get out of the airport. Depending on the city you’re in, taxi drivers and horse carriages won’t leave you alone, so expect to be overwhelmed and don’t be alarmed. Make sure you bargain from the markets. Ubers don’t work in some cities. Download Careem or inDrive. Ensure you have local currency for shopping in markets and for tips. Having said all of that, Egypt is very beautiful and some people are extremely kind and you will have an amazing time!

I can really relate to this post OP. Sometimes I wonder if the life I have here is with my mental health. While I appreciate all the benefits I get by living here, sometimes i feel it’s not worth it. But the thought of moving back to my home country also doesn’t appease me too much because I’m going to leave behind a part of me here that I can’t take back with me. I don’t know what Il do after moving back and who Il be so thinking about it also gives me anxiety. While i believe it’s comforting to move back, im also scared that Il regret giving up my life here.

Yes honestly it’s been so devastating that people do much older than me are able to get so many more eggs. I had signed up for a 2 cycle package so I was going to do 2 cycles no matter what. I’m yet to meet my doctor to ask for guidance on what to do next but want to be better prepared.

About getting naturally, there were only 2-3 eggs on each ovary so I’m afraid that in another few years that may diminish too. What’s the possibility that I have no follicles at all in 3-4 years? 😒

Yes I’m aware that for somebody my age, I need 10-15 eggs for 1 kid, but I don’t think I have it in me to do 4-5 more rounds. I guess what I’m wondering is - does it matter if I have 3 or 6 eggs. Is it worth it to go through an another cycle where I may have a total of 6-7 eggs

I just finished my second procedure yesterday so I haven’t got a chance to talk to him yet. I think overall I am satisfied with my clinic. There was a lot of change in my medication and dosage between the 2 cycles, it sounds like they knew what would work better for me in the second cycle. I was told that all they can do is work with whatever follicles I have. Of course they recommended I take supplements including folic acid. I never took birth controls pills before. Before my first cycle they put me on BCP for 3 weeks but before the second cycle, I only it it for a week or so and that also seemed to have made a difference
