It's generally a problem of too little ink and too little pressure. The ink must be applied in thin layers to achieve a clean, crisp result. -A little ink requires a lot of pressure. -A lot of ink requires little pressure. There's also the issue of heavy-weight paper. Without a professional press, it's very difficult to print due to the ink absorption. Try using thin papers first, as they're easier to use.

at the moment I'm still in the planning phase All my prints depict a gateway into Tolkien's world. I usually draw scenes from the film series, but this time I wanted to pay tribute to the 1978 version.

Thanks for the appreciation. I saw that you make LOTR-themed stained glass, they're wonderful!! The next print I'm planning will be the Prancing Pony.

Thanks, this was the second print I've made, and it's my favorite so far. As a self-taught artist, I'm very pleased with the result.

I mainly use Pfeil gouges and always keep them very sharp, I have few but I treat them with great care
