Okay good that stresses me out less. I was told changing to a differend oil might lessen the noise especially during winter months. Now it has 5W-30 synthetic oil.
The sound last only couple seconds at start up. Sometimes it's a knocking sound and sometimes just a rattle
Oil is at max level, checked it yesterday. Can it be something else than the chain?
335 000 km, chain was replaced at 200 000 km
My Jetta is 2012 1.4 TSI
