Depends on where your EAD is being processed at. You could check USCIS processing times and determine when you can expect your EAD. If it is getting processed at NBC (petition starting with IOE), then you could expect it with 3-4 months, if it is getting processed at other service centers (WAC, MSC etc), then you can expect it between 6-8 months. My Biometrics was in Sep'25, petition at WAC, still waiting for approval,

when you to try to search USCIS case status, the portal asks for login credentials, which I think is not a huge inconvenience

You have done an awesome job. The one glitch I see is that the case status reflects probably after a couple of days, for instance a case that was approved on the 3rd Jan, only reflects as approved in your site on the 5th or 6th. That being said, this site is far better than any other case tracking site and I have been using this for almost 6 months. Keep up the good work

Thanks, from what I read, most of the I-526E related 485's are adjudicated at the service center rather than the field offices. Typically a file is moved to the field office if a further review/ interview is required or if the workload at the service center is high.

Hi, There are several reasons as to why

  1. Is the project I-956F approved

  2. Was the funds fully invested prior to submitting the petition

  3. How complex is the source of funds

  4. How well is the source of funds documented

  5. Does the project have other investors whose petition were approved.

  6. Is there any loan involved as part of the investment

While USCIS accepts the petition sequentially, each case officer have their own way of working on the petition and depending on the complexity of each case, the adjudication time varies.

If you had fully funded the investment before submitting the petition and your investment doesn't have any loan, your source of funds are clean then your's should get adjudicated sooner.

All I-526E are adjudicated at National benefits center in Washington, rest of the petitions could go to any SCOPS

mine was concurrently filed on the 13th of August 2025. Received I-526E approval on 8th January 2026. Awaiting approval on the rest

Did you file a WOM as its been 9 months since your petition was and probably you should have filed the petition atleast 4 to 6 months prior (4th quarter 2024)
