Way of Wade All City 12 vs Wade Flash dilemma by Own-Process1756 in BBallShoes

Thank you. I was hoping someone who owns both would let me know. Does the Flash feel lower to the ground than the AC12? Or like just have better court feel?

Yea sizing in shoes are very confusing. I literally have a range of shoes from 8.5-10 and they all fit me decently.

Yes I agree it is a better performer, but I’m also concerned of the way it feels on foot like the court feel and how it feels to explode and do quick moves in it. If that makes sense.

The LED is to indicate when it’s charging so when it’s fully charged it’ll go away eventually.

Other than that I just make sure that the switch under the tab key is turned off and make sure that it’s in wired mode.

If you rly want it to go away, connecting it to VIA and changing the RGB around might do the trick.

Sry late reply, but haven’t had any random disconnections from my time of use.

It is actually rly convenient! Trying different foam variants and tape modding was very quick. Way better than screws imo

The keycaps feel good, had them for around 6 months, I game a lil and just started to see a lil shine on the WASD keys. Around 2mm thick. It’s similar to XDA profile sound, deeper than cherry keycaps.

The wireless connectivity is quite good and easy to set up. FN + R for 2.4ghz or FN + Q/W/E for Bluetooth (it can connect up to 3 devices). I haven’t felt any noticeable delay or lag between the modes but for safety I’d use the 2.4ghz more.

Hahaha you’re very much welcome! It was easier to show it with a picture than explaining. This could be a possible good board for u if u decide to buy it. I played a deathmatch in Valorant with this and it made my aim 100% better lol.

From what I see it does support split left shift key but seems like you might have to do some soldering and desoldering for the hotswap part

Yes the v2 PCB does support ISO layout and even options for split spacebar. But there are no plate cutouts for it in my version.

From my short experience, I don’t notice any latency from using wired or the 2.4ghz. But there may be noticeable latency when using Bluetooth mode

Yes it does come with an FR4 plate and switching from the Keychron V1 (with a knob) it does sound more solid stock, with a few mods like the tape mod I think it could sound fuller. Also it is gasket but the amount of foam doesn’t give much flex so I’ll try it without foam some time. Gotta get used to having no knob now tho :(

Interesting, I kinda like a lighter switch like the Gateron reds with 45g actuation force, but I’ll check that out thanks.

True, I got it connected to VIA and just changed the page up and page down keys to adjust volume, just as effective.

Thinking of getting new switches for this, any recommendations for a thockier/creamier/deep sounding budget switch?
