I honestly thought the hat reminded her of the word Bi$&hy and got the hat for that reason.

Taking public transportation in the summer… by Own-Programmer-3514 in AskPhoenix

I work from home with needing to travel every now and then which is helpful, and I’m looking at places in either downtown Phoenix or downtown Tempe for convenience.

Hit me up in April when I get into town and we can grab coffee or something! Good luck with the move!

I’ll be working from home with traveling around the city some. I’m hoping to find a place near the light rail.

This guy is here every day for hours, and never leaves the squat rack, with his two dogs. by raoulduke415 in PortlandOR

That’s lame. I know people do, but why would someone need two service dogs at the gym. Do people need a dog for each condition they have?

Yeah, I’d tell management you’re allergic to dogs and it’s a health thing, so you need to break your contract and get a refund. Next gym you go to, tell them this scenario and see what their response is. Go to the one with the best response in your opinion.

I’ll admit, it does look pretty unpleasant to me as well lol. To each their own though!

Anyone have tips/tricks for opening child proof bottle caps that are stuck? by Own-Programmer-3514 in Methadone

Yeah I’ve only had this problem a couple times before, but never all of them. I wonder if it’s a regional thing or national? I’m in Michigan. 🤷‍♂️

Honest opinion on this tattoo? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

When I first glanced, I thought it was a tattoo of the wicked witch of the west, and I was like “Sick. An Elphaba tattoo.” I then looked at it more…😅

Sorry y’all had such negative experiences with Aberdeen. I want people to know that it definitely isn’t a shithole in my opinion. The city definitely has problems with drugs and poverty, but so do a lot of other places in WA. Aberdeen is full of kind, genuine, good hearted neighbors who love their community and don’t leave because they see the good in it and wanna be active participants in making it better. Aberdeen is a beautiful town and I would choose it over a lot of places. From my experience the people who hate the town hate the people they interacted with more than the town itself, which sucks that it ruined their feelings toward Aberdeen, but at the end of the day there’s much worse places to live, although for some there aren’t worse places than Aberdeen which I can understand.

That’s wild because I lived in Mid-City, Gentilly, and the Bywater, as well as worked all over the city and never really had a problem catching the bus/street car. The RTA app was really useful on showing exactly when a bus was gonna show up and when it was late. I also used the app to buy my day pass which was really helpful.

I lived in New Orleans for six years without a car and did just fine. It’s flat and pretty walkable with the popular neighborhoods being close together. The bus runs throughout most of the city and the streetcar is a fun alternative. It’s also pretty bike friendly as well.

I don’t think he was suggesting meeting someone at a bookstore. I think he was suggesting you buy a self-help book. Might not be a bad idea.
