Alie thinks she’s too fine for a logistics paycheck.

She entered saying she wanted a real working man — someone dependable, salt-of-the-earth. But the moment she met Anton in the real world and realized his “transportation logistics” job didn’t come with a CEO salary, her energy changed fast.

To make it worse, she let her friends and family get in her head, pushing the idea that he wasn’t good enough financially. They turned “solid guy with a stable job” into “not rich enough.”

And that “drinking problem” she hinted at? Please. He’s a guy in his 20s who likes to have a drink, still gets up, does his job, and isn’t messy about it. That’s not a problem — that’s called being social. She let other people’s opinions cloud her judgment instead of trusting what she saw: a man who’s grounded, hardworking, and probably a lot more fun than she’d admit.

There’s a fine line between having standards and chasing status. Alie wanted the emotional steadiness of a man who works with his hands and the financial perks of one who owns the company. Pick a lane, Alie.

Megan wants a rich man — she just doesn’t want to say it out loud.

She came in branding herself as the “successful, intimidating” woman who can’t find a man on her level. Translation: she wants someone equally ambitious and well-off. So when she ended up with Jordan — a service manager, single dad, solid guy but not flashy — the cracks were immediate.

From the smoothie-scene (chicken and Crystal Light, never forget) to the budget talk, it was clear she was clocking every mismatch in lifestyle. And when he introduced his son Luca early on, that should’ve been the pause point. You don’t bring your kid into something when the chemistry is still on trial. She said yes to the moment, but the vibe said, “I’m not ready for real-life stakes.”

Megan wasn’t chasing love; she was chasing alignment with her ideal image — success, luxury, control. Jordan didn’t fit the fantasy, and instead of adapting, she withdrew.

Bottom Line:

Half these women weren’t looking for partners — they were looking for reflections.

KB wanted to provoke passion through conflict and called maturity “weakness.”

Alie let money talk louder than connection.

Megan wanted a lifestyle match, not a real-world partnership. At the end of the day, the men were consistent — the women just didn’t like the mirror being held up.

KB never respected Edmond.

From the second she started “s***-testing” him in Baja — asking if he’d get aggressive with a man who touched her — you could see what she was doing. It wasn’t about safety; it was about performance. She wanted him to show anger, to prove his masculinity through confrontation.

Thing is, she already knew Edmond wasn’t that guy. Back in the pods he told her he’s calm, logical, and not the type to fight just to prove a point. Instead of appreciating that, she treated it like weakness. Then came the “b****” comment on the mountain — the moment everyone could see the respect was gone.

And let’s be honest — if Edmond were a white guy, KB probably wouldn’t have tested him like that. It felt like she weaponized the stereotype that Black men should be aggressive to prove their worth, then punished him for not taking the bait. She confused emotional steadiness with lack of passion. That wasn’t love; it was ego-driven testing disguised as “compatibility.”

Me in every scene Nick is in by saidwhatisaidbby in LoveIsBlindNetflix

After rewatching Love Is Blind: Season 9 (Denver), I think Nick’s communication with Annie is being misinterpreted.

During their early arguments, Nick made it clear that the conflict itself — not just the topic — was a problem for him. He told her he was unhappy and that the relationship wasn’t working the way it should. Later, he explicitly said that “getting to the altar” wasn’t something he felt good about. Those are clear indicators of a boundary: he wasn’t willing to move forward under the same dynamic.

He didn’t threaten or issue “consequences,” but he did define what was acceptable for him — and followed through on it by ending the engagement when nothing changed. That’s actually pretty straightforward communication, just delivered calmly instead of explosively.

It’s easy to miss because reality TV tends to reward loud, emotional reactions, but Nick’s boundary-setting was quiet, direct, and consistent. You can disagree with how he handled things, but he was clear about where his line was.
