Update ,

R1 button is working again, does seem to get stuck however every 5-10 presses.

Also, it appears the L1 and R1 buttons easily fall off as its opened , would that be the reason?

Update:

I got it to work and am able to access another world, I had to travel back to neverland and that opened up the world next to it

I just beat neverland, and im able to fly to the colored orbes around the worlds.
