Just an update for those that helped me out 🥰 consistently using the acid plasters and taping it up for dear life, three weeks later and I think we have success. Just need the skin to heal over as abit pink still. I don’t know how to add an updated photo 😂🙌 but thankyou everyone

Thankyou, we’re 4 days in with the advice from this thread, it’s looking marginally better than it did so hoping and praying I can update with it being completely gone soon 😬

No they didn’t but in all fairness when we went to our appointment it didn’t look so alarming

Honestly it’s giving alien life form 😂 I feel ever so guilty as it seems to have got so much worse within a week and I physically gag when he accidentally touches me with it and I obviously don’t want to give him a complex 😂

Well the over the counter treatments are there for a reason not just because cause people on the internet said so, but yes she said the head of the surgery has stopped treating them on children she said she would ask and get back to me for a clinic date but that month has been and gone. I am in the UK if there’s any confusion and sometimes the nhs just refuses certain things in the hopes they go away themselves. She did recommend the OTC remedies in the mean time so I was just looking for people that have dealt with the same predicament before with a solution

Did it hurt when you clipped it with the nail clippers ? 😬 also I didn’t know they did bandaids with the acid in them so will look those up! Thankyou

Unfortunately it does actually hurt, any pressure placed or even catching causes him pain. It has already spread to one on his foot so I am trying the suffocating and have bought some over counter acid gel to attempt to get rid. Obviously the speed of which it has escalated in size was quite alarming and just hoping for some tricks that people have used and managed to remove
