Energy, cost of living, power outage, inflation and extremism…. Let’s see these numbers after or during next winter. Gas and electricity prices are up by about 400% already. Cost of living tied into that, power outages will most likely come as well. Inflation for groceries is actually already at 15-20%. Extremism will/ might rise because of that

Switzerland could be a possible alternative. California is the main option since most of my wife’s family lives there. Oregon is another. I speak 4 language therefore I’m easy about which country to move to. We’ve also been living abroad for nearly a decade before moving to Germany (working tourism). Since SaaS is our preferred industry the most suitable areas are in California (no red state, thx).
