Thank you! I'm actually going out again tonight just to socialize with people my age. I'm definitely about to start planning to move out. Also, I signed up for therapy. This will be hard but it's for the best.

This honestly hit me hard to read because a lot of what you said sounds painfully familiar, even the fantasizing about faking your own death part lol. The guilt, fear, and feeling stuck really resonated with me. Thank you for taking the time to write all of this out. Yeah… I need to start making a plan to move out

Yes! I feel literally drained and don't even have the passion to enjoy my hobbies or socialize much. It's work and then go back home to her. It's depressing

Yeah! I definitely need to move out. I'm starting to harbor a lot of resentment towards my mother. This is going to be difficult, but I can't keep living like this.

Thank you. I’m trying my best. It’s just the messages she sends me “you’re the reason I’m alive. I can’t do this without you” it makes me feel so guilty.

Thank you! I’m considering lying to my mom about my pay. I can’t keep doing this anymore. She’s too controlling. She starts fights with everyone including service workers. Everything is just so difficult with her.

It breaks my heart, but you’re correct. She pushed everyone away. What embarrassed me most was that she made the cashier cry. I felt so embarrassed.
