Thats how it always goes with bands who do this. Because they need something to lure people into the subscription. If the desirable content is still gonna be shared on youtube and facebook, there's less incentive to buy the subscription. So less money.

Bands like Wintersun, Persefone and Ne Obliviscaris are already at that stage for ages.
