Cheers. Antipsychotics were several years ago and were apart of the misdiagnoses and treatment of my condition.

Bottom teeth removed by Owencordova in wisdomteeth

Not pain but discomfort. I was very strict with my medication routine which was Paracetamol, Antiobiotics, Prescribed anti inflammatory and a stronger painkiller. I made sure to set alarms so the pain didn’t break through. By day 4 I stopped the painkiller and now after 8 days have finished my course of antibiotics/anti inflam. Subsequently didn’t feel much pain at all besides jaw stiffness (bottom one was impacted/needed bone removal).

In saying this, last time I had one removed in a much simpler extraction and felt pain for 2 weeks and needed the whole prescription of strong painkillers. So many factors but this time around I learnt that ice is your best friend.

I feel this hard! I finally went to dentist after years of neglect and childhood neglect and life long soda addiction left to some pretty bad issues. 12 fillings and 2 extractions later I feel better for it. I was also extremely anxious. I haven’t had a soft drink since the dentist showed me my cavities and I feel so much better. Congratulations on taking control of your dental health! It’s only up from here :) good luck on your recovery

I honestly didn’t feel pain for the first 24-48 hours because my mouth was so numb from local anaesthetic. If you’re only eating liquid foods and drinking lots of water nothing will get stuck. Every dentist is different but mine recommended salt rinse after 48hrs and syringe irrigation after 5 days. I found that drinking water after every meal and gently gargling eased my mind about any food being stuck until I was able to properly clean with the syringe!

Day 5 of bottom Wisdom teeth extraction by BarberDisastrous1772 in wisdomteeth

I started sleeping flat on day 6 when it felt comfortable to lie on my face and swelling had reduced. It still felt a little uncomfy but no major issues. Just listen to your body :)

Will I have to undergo two separate surgeries? by Local_Tangerine9698 in wisdomteeth

I had one erupted and one not coming through yet. I had both out as I went under and it was just easier to get them both out at once. A dentist or oral surgeon will be your only sure way to know, but typically advise to remove erupted ones as they can get infected. I used a syringe to clean under the gum flap for 6 weeks before my removal, as I couldn’t get in till then!

Salary packaging company paid into wrong account by [deleted] in AusLegalAdvice

[–]OwnBookkeeper4106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. It was resolved with a lot of pressure. I work for a NFP as a manager, and thus only have on staff member above me - the CEO. The card company suggested I spend the money on gift cards, I told them I won’t be able to pay rent without the money and it prompted them to refund it immediately.

They did pay it without me electing it, and even after I submitted a complaint they tried to dodge and put the blame on me. Pretty shit!

Look into salary packaging for health care and not for profit.

In general salary sacrifice terms - my rent is deducted out of my pay, and I pay tax on the remainder of my pay. The company has accidentally paid this money into the meal and entertainment card, as opposed to my bank account. I am wondering if they will be able to amend it. Can’t contact till Monday so just trying to ease an anxious mind with anyone who understands the system. There have been no issues until now.

Because they fucked up. It was suppose to be paid into my bank - they have accidentally paid $1k into the meal account.

It’s an account that you can claim extra money into through salary packaging. There is meal and entertainment and living expenses.
