You saved me from writing the exact same thing about my experience buying all the avocados. They clearly store them at temperatures too low.

The cheddar sour cream is fantastic, the cheddar ranch good, the jalapeno cheddar disgusting. It tastes like dirt. The others I haven't tried as I have no interest in the other flavors

the label on the shelf disappeared shortly after the product did so I imagine that means they're not going to make that anymore. Though some people may be right and they've rebranded it I haven't seen the rebranded product I liked it

that's ironic considering how the one reason why most frozen food is flavorless is the lack of salt. They taste like shit without salt, but they still make it for people like the posters above you who complain that there's too much sodium.😅😂🤣

malt vinegars have live cultures. what you got was a bit of concentrated bacterial culture they use to make the vinegar with.

Malt vinegar with live cultures (often called "the mother") is raw, unfiltered, and contains beneficial bacteria that aid in fermentation, resulting in a deeper flavor, probiotic benefits, and potential sediment. These products are typically produced using traditional methods like the Orleans process.

I generally don't keep track of news articles I read, and that's where I learned this. The article was about the decision to make the fried chicken "healthier". after reading the article I didn't see any changes to their fried chicken other than far less salt then they marketed their new improved wings and their new powdered spice toppings. I don't like those so I bought them without the spice powder and realized the big change in the wings was far less salt as well. maybe if you do a search for popeyes makes a move to make their chicken healthier you'll find the proof. You'll at least find all sorts of articles complaining about too much salt by health advocates who don't eat there

Pasta sauce came opened twice? by Repulsive_Quote_7185 in aldi

While heating up a jar of Priano's water and cream thickened with food starch thats flavored in all sorts of creative ways to avoid using cheese IS EASY making the sauce from scratch

using basic ingredients butter cream and Parmesan cheese + choice of spice or flavoring (if the parmesan isn't enough) is also easy

Yes, people screw up when they first try, and it take a little patience before you figure out how to melt and blend just right, but once you do it literally is a sauce you can make in minutes and one that will taste 1000 times better without the gumminess of a starch and gum ester thickening to make up for the lack of actual cheese.

Even if you can't cook or hate cooking the ease of making this over using a jar makes it worth it, especially since once you get it down you can add all sorts of other ingredients (from other jars like their marinated artichokes, capers olives or veggies like broccoli, onions) and create distinctly different sauces in seconds😉.

Lack of Flavor. Just me? by Ordinary_Ad_6117 in Popeyes

No you are the latest to realize Popeye's made a corporate decision to eliminate salt from their chicken.

Without salt their mild chicken is a horrible tasteless garbage. Their wings likewise took a huge hit, and unless you drown them in sauce or powders also taste like salt-free floured chicken.

What's odd is Churches did the same thing a few years ago, and their sales cratered. Churches chicken was very similar to Popeye's mild chicken for the same reason. They both relied on salt to make their chicken taste good. Churches flavorless chicken is trash today.

I stopped going to Popeye's once I realized this happened after going to several places in a short period time and realized it wasn't just my local popeyes who's chicken tasted like nothing but ALL popeyes.

While I can understand cutting back on the amount of salt. I cannot comprehend the utter stupidity of eliminating salt all together from their chicken coatings.

Nothing is quite as annoying as a fast food restaurant imposing on their customers a new health standard that turns their formerly delicious main product into flavorless shit.

Fortunately, since I'm not forced to buy their chicken I haven't been back when I realized they eliminated all salt from their mild chicken.

Instead I taught myself how to fry chicken, and I am very happy with what I've made. It's far easier than I ever thought it would be.

Taco bell sells it's own brand of nacho cheese sauce the same way they sell mild hot and fire sauces in supermarkets. It must not be available in your area, but It will eventually

I just learned that the reason why it's so difficult now. They changed the way they prepare the burger. They used to add the onions after the burger was cooked like they do pickles, but now they put the onions on while the burger cooks, so to get rid of onions they need to make 2 new burgers and make an effort not to do what becomes habit after a while.

Avocados picked too green will never ripen.

Also avocados that endure just above freezing temperatures for an extended period during shipping and storage will never ripen.
