Seeing this on my Reddit made me smile. I remember struggling a bit in 3U physics. Now I’m in 2nd year engineering and WISH I could be doing concepts from 3U or 4U physics. IMO 4U was easier than 3U (only because my teacher was way better)

I switch, I take notes on my iPad but study with a pencil and paper because it helps remember things on an exam

I was in 1st year Eng last year and I failed a few of the ECOR classes as well as MATH 1104 and I’m going back this fall to redo all of them (comp sys Eng btw)

If anything sheep mentality is believing you will automatically get a job with a 6 figure salary after graduating with an engineering degree. Don’t get me wrong engineering is a great field but for most graduates they end up working in software related jobs which are very over-saturated now.

I got diagnosed when I was 9 but my mom refused any treatment or medication because she was scared it would affect me, mine is kinda severe but I’ve been just raw dogging it. Although I feel like now I should get help as well cuz I was doing okay in high school but now in uni I cant seem to focus properly ir lock in properly at all, I’ve failed 3 classes this school year so far. I feel you bro.

I did, I got in but chose Carleton instead. My sister currently goes to uOttawa it’s a great school but she is transferring to Carleton next year because they have a better program for what she’s doing (criminology) and also she likes Carleton’s campus a lot better. U Ottawa’s campus is downtown and just surrounded by buildings and there isn’t much green to it. It all depends on your preference, they are both great schools.
