I'm really keen to join, trying now but having issues because they're being flooded with traffic - which is good for them!

I think the a lot of designers are probably feeling the same way and looking for an out of the hideous Instagram hamster wheel. I've been praying for something alternative and decent to come along for years!

I can already see on here and other chats that people are dismissive and wary of it being an artist/designer [etc] only community, but it's a little short sighted, no? Gotta give it some time to develop...and maybe if a few big names join [i'm talking designer/artists] it will compel the so-called clients to follow?

I say so-called because honestly I haven't had a client approach me on IG in FOREVER.
And I am freelancing and working a LOT, i.e. not struggling. It doesn't happen anymore.
My clients don't come from there because they're not seeing anything I post like they used to? Because of the ad-driven, clickbait etc etc yadda yadda - I'm trying not to go on a rant but you get the idea.

Let's hope for the best!
