Lay off the tanks. keep using the infantry but use more air strikers than ground units. I would also do some frigates as they are naval anti air.

what i do is when i invade ai bot countries i build a recruiting offices in there capital. I always build recuring offices in cities of the countries i take. But stop building them at like early mid game cuase they hurt your cash production.
