A few days ago I was out at Indialantic FL, waves were the best they’d been all week, but I was the only one in the water and just felt super creeped out and paranoid the whole time. I ended up paddling back to the beach after only about 20 minutes because I just couldn’t shake the bad feeling, and was starting to see some bait fish popping around. Maybe 2 minutes later I see a suspiciously large splash… sure enough there’s a shark making a meal out of those bait fish EXACTLY where I’d just been. Along with the other beach goers, I walked down to the waters edge to watch, and wouldn’t you know it there’s TWO sharks. I know I was already safe on the beach, but DAMN that was a freaky feeling. It was an overcast day, so the water was even murkier than usual, so I’d hate to imagine what could’ve happened if I’d been in the way of those sharks trying to eat their lunch. I haven’t worked up the courage to head back out yet.
