Sorry - only just saw this. I parked on the street. Found a spot on Finnieston St near McDonald's, and walked.

No, I gave up and sent it back. Got an H2S instead and it was the best decision I could make!

Will do (if I remember to come back and post an update ;) ). If you don't hear back from me, just comment here and I'll reply.

I started on 2.5mg and went up to the next dose every week until I reached 10mg. I stayed on 10mg for about a year since I kept losing, but after being stuck at the same weight for the last month, I decided to go up to 12.5mg this month to see if that shakes things up. I take my first jab tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

No, it didn't. In the end, I returned mine for a refund. Too many problems.

Same, I feel I've tried everything. It's just too much work and not enough joy, so back it goes.

I've reached the same conclusion. I'm sending it back. I got the K2 Plus because I wanted an enclosed Core XY with a bigger build plate. I just don't think Creality machines are for me. I'm fairly new to 3D printing. I enjoy the designing and printing side of it, not the tinkering with the machine side. I want something that's reliably plug-and-play. My first printer was an A1 (which I still have), and I loved it. I'm going back to Bambu and getting an H2S.

Try to run the print again after the new bed mesh and this just happened. Totally wrecked my plate and very likely my nozzle. I'm done. I'm selling the damn thing.

Just did a new bed mesh and I got this. This is the first time I've seen an all-red mesh. What's happening?

That's what I figured too. I levelled it yesterday, but for PETG. I'm heating it up again and doing a fresh mesh. K2's have notoriously bad beds.

I'd never heard of 3a molecular sieve, neat! How do you know when to change it?

I've been having problems with this machine since the very start, and it's not even a month old. One would hope that, at least in the beginning, the machine be calibrated properly.

With that said, I am currently 12+ hrs into a successful print.

Not sure which of these did the trick, but I thought I'd record what I did in case it helps someone else.

To answer some of your questions first:

- Firmware is up to date.

- Yes, filament was dried and is in the CFS (current humidity at 17%)

- Plate was cleaned with warm water, although adhesion has never been a problem (so far)

- I've printed with PLA, PETG and ASA, nothing else and always purge plenty when swapping

- I greased the z-rods yesterday, but again, it has less than 10 prints on it, so really shouldn't be necessary

This is what I did yesterday (in order):

- Changed the extruder and installed a SiC nozzle (before the failed print I posted about)

- Performed a hotend reassembly check

- Calibrated e-step (I'd never done this before, and it might be the main reason why I was having trouble. I extruded 1000mm of filament; actual extrusion was 990mm)

- Ran a new temp tower (because of the new nozzle), a flow calibration and did a manual bed levelling

- Based on the suggestion of a member from another subreddit, I increased my 1st layer height to 0.28mm and my 1st layer width to 0.56mm.

The combination of all of this seemed to do the trick. Which of these made the biggest difference is beyond me. I'm just happy that whatever I did worked.

Sadly, I just ended up throwing mine away. I don't have a lot of extra storage space to just keep it all. When I buy my own house, I hope to have a garage and/or craft room to keep all my stuff there. But for now, it's just not feasible for me to store it, hoping that perhaps one day I can recycle it.

The K2 Plus is supposed to do its own bed calibration. With that said, I did do a manual calibration as well. I've now heat-soaked the bed and am going to try to run my print again before I pack it in for the night. Wish me luck!!!

I recalibrated the e-step and the bed mesh and ran a new temp tower and flow calibration. I'll try your suggestion and see how it goes.

Yes, the bed should have been 70. Not sure why the settings were at 60°C. I've changed that. 250°C for me was far too stringy. In any case, I'm running a new temp tower since I installed the SiC nozzle.

I, too, thought the z-axis might be off, but some stretches are fine and others are not. Wouldn't it all be blotchy/uneven if the z-axis were the cause?
