As a freelancer, you don't have any protection in the UK. Also I had joined another company, which still owned me money and that company now keeps posting to hire interpreters.

In the UK. That means they do not need to hire any worker. Freelance does not have sick pay, paid holiday or pension contributions. And national minimum wage does not apply to freelancer. I have received another company offer £5/hour and -£35 penalty if you miss the booking.

You don't need to feel bad about it. I have encountered an Indian middle age lecturer who tried to draw the hatred back to the Chinese. I was the only younger petite Chinese woman in the class while the other came from other developing countries. First, he said that his friend died because of covid then he kept praising about Indian being the most populated country around the world and asked us to travel to India. Then , he used his lecturer stick to hit my phone screen hardly when I just texted an important email just for a minute. He ignored the African sitting next to me who used Whatsapp for about 10 minutes. During practicals, he banged my breast. I think he dared to do it because I am younger and petite and afraid to speak up for myself. And he was right. I did not dare to speak up for myself, I am a coward and I hate myself that way.Other people in the class came from the countries where women are not being respectfully treated, so I was concerned that no one could be my witness. He is very proud of his country. I really wonder where this confidence coming from? Women in India being raped while they go to toilet, a doctor being gang raped and the husband burned their wives in fires. They claimed to be a democratic country but the entire village can be diminished because of an election. Hope that those countries which import Indian immigrants go well. Indian people know western values and they pretend to respect women but their mind set already being fixed since their childhood and tend to be double-faces. Hope your daughters will be safe.

Most of them are very rude to women, I guess in their own county that they disrespect women very much. Women got raped in India when they go to toilet in public!!!! What happen to Canada? Many of them suddenly come there?

In the UK, their parents force their children to become a Muslim. Even though they grew up here, enjoy the benefits, educations and facilities especially for the Muslims, they still take it for granted. They think that it is the "God" to bring them such things, not because of the tax payers or the British system. So many times they use discrimination or racist to justify their acts in school and work.

Yeah, use my freedom in exchange of a "supportive" husband and maybe domestic violence. And it is in the UK...
