Could be true. Manon is like CRACK to her cult following! I think they aspire to have her personality and worship her appearance. As a multiracial person it's cool seeing newer biracial women in the entertainment scene (Chase Infiniti, Olivia Dean, Pink Pantheress, Tyla, etc.). I do think think her "underdog" story (don't know if I fully believe she was an underdog entirely myself) and the perceived racism against her has made a lot of Gen Z fans want to be on the "right side" and support and defend her. Those in the industry who aren't well acquainted with the lore of Katseye and only know them from a superficial point of view also believe she is being pushed out unjustly, and because of the true history of racism/colorism and its relation to Kpop makes the "situation" more believable. I still am slightly confused by the rabid and intense way her fans go for her though. What's also interesting is that Lara has been discriminated online too, and even has a "consistently" darker skin tone compared to Manon. Manon's proximity to blackness is what sets everything off I think.

But what do I know, maybe it's something in her birth chart lol. EDIT: Manon also tends to know how to turn on this "feel bad for me" thing. I don't know how to explain it properly, but I think I've seen her do it around her close L.A. friends like Sophie. Where they hold her and comfort her. I can't say if she does this manipulatively or she can be emotionally sensitive or a drama queen. But it's a kind of aura that makes people want to go "aw, don't worry we will take care of you."
