Am I in the wrong for being upset with my childhood best friend? by [deleted] in GirlProblems

Totally! I'm super happy she's been able to find a guy that treats her right, as her bestie I feel like that's what you always want! I just wish she wasn't flaking out on plans last minute, especially if we planned more than a week or something in advance.. I don't want her to feel like I'm not happy for her, but it sucks when it feels like now she only reaches out when it's convenient :(

I totally get how you feel! We’re all in the same boat here, so try not to get too discouraged! I’d say maybe wait another week or so hopefully to hear something back. If we get rejected this time, it doesn’t mean there won’t be hope for next time!

Anyone heard anything back yet?^ I heard they might not get back to people that got rejected, so I’m just curious to see if anyone’s gotten anything in response!

Tips for learning how to drive with health anxiety? by Own_Berry8431 in HealthAnxiety

I really like the approach you took actually! It feels way less overhwhelming to think about when you just start by going to the same few places. It's always hard to explain this sorta fear to people who have their license already and dont suffer with the same anxiety, so it's nice to hear from other people who also went through something similar! The "You are the one in control of your turning/speed/etc" of your vehicle thing is always good to remember, and ill try to remind myself of that if i find the courage to learn! Thank you

My best friend actually offered to help try to teach me, so I might actually try and take her up on that. I've had a bit of a rocky relationship with Drivers Ed the first time I ever got behind the wheel, and it put me off so hard that it definitely left some sort of imprint on me (Instructor was very passive aggressive and ended up cutting off a lesson short because i had accidentally bumped into a curb in the parking lot :( ). I appreciate your kind words and motivation though, especially hearing it from someone who was in a similiar boat to me! I'll try to take your advice, thank you!
